How can you help?

There is no doubt that The Turning Point has benefited from the input and generosity from a range of groups and individuals within the Calderdale area. As such we see The Turning Point firmly as a community based service and we both value and respect the links we have in our locality.

If you would like to help The Turning Point there are a number of ways that we would welcome your input an support:

  • Volunteering:  we need volunteers for a number of roles at The Turning Point Counselling Service:  trustees, counsellors and sitters. Regardless of the role, we really do see ourselves as parts of the whole.  We would welcome your input at any level.
  • Donations: The Turning Point is a free service, there are no fees or charges required from our client group.   We are grateful however to receive grants and donations from both groups and individuals.
  • Information Sharing: We would like The Turning Point to be available to more individuals throughout the Calderdale District.  To help with this,  positive word of mouth comments and information sharing are great opportunities to spread the word with regards to the work we undertake.
  • Prayer: The support and input of local churches has been invaluable to the development of the Turning Point. Some of this support has been in the form of prayer and meditation.

We would like to thank all those who support The Turning Point. Our development and the services we offer reflect your generosity and input.
