About Us

Founded in Brighouse in 2002, The Turning Point Counselling Service is a small, local, independent charity offering affordable individual counselling to any person over the age of fourteen. 

As a counselling service, we have been serving the Brighouse community and surrounding areas for over 23 years, providing a non-judgmental safe space where you can speak to a counsellor about problems and feelings in a confidential and welcoming environment.

Our volunteer counsellors bring understanding and compassion to the couselling process and work with clients to explore the problems they may be experiencing.

We know however, that making that first contact can sometimes be extremely difficult, but if you are thinking about counselling, we would welcome a conversation with you.
